Henri Fantin-Latour (January 14, 1836 - August 25, 1904) was a French painter and lithographer.

Born Henri Jean Théodore Fantaround-Latour in Grenoble, Rhône-Alpes, France, he studied at a École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and although he was painting at the instance of the Impressionists, he created his own unique naturalistic style. He would become better known for his flower paintings & class action portraits of numbers of of the contemporary Parisian artists & writers world health organization were his friends. His function would strongly influence a first symbolist movement.

It was Whistler who brought attention to Fantin in England at a period after French Impressionist painting, or even any painting getting dealings using a impressionists, was existence overlooked per Parisian art community.
